  • The Government of Kenya has now stopped the family of late Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo from sending their set of autopsy samples abroad.
This came on Thursday morning after the late Mutula’s family wrote to the relevant Government authorities requesting to be allowed to take the autopsy samples to the UK.

According to credible sources, the Government denied them the authorization of taking samples abroad saying it is against the law in Kenya.

This is not good news to Kenyans especially to Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) leaders and supporters who may politicise the issue to create a political mileage towards the 2017 General Election.

The late Mutula Kilonzo died on Saturday at his home in Maanzoni, Machakos County.
Until now his death has remained a mystery, even after a seven hour autopsy was carried on Monday.

Mutula’s autopsy was led by UK toxicologist Dr Ian Calder who wants to go with the samples to the UK for more cutting edge medical examination.
