On Monday, the family of late Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo hired a top UK pathologist, Dr Ian Calder, to oversee the postmortem of Mutula Kilonzo who died at his Maanzoni home, Machakos County, in what can be termed as “mysterious death”.
Dr Calder, a renowned toxicologist has produced hundreds of reports in his career handling at least 40 cases per year in UK and United States.
Dr Ian Maddison Calder is a qualified pathologist from UK. He has a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of St Andrews.
Calder is also a member of of Royal College of Physicians, Fellowship of Royal College of Pathologists, Fellowship of College of Pathologists of Hong Kong and Fellowship of Faculty of Occupational Medicine.
H e also holds a Diploma in Medical Jurisprudence and Diploma in Medical Disability Assessment.
